Theres no exact system to writing a novel. The writer is his own story teller and thus should believe in himself and his writing skills. When you write a novel, come up with a plot for the story. Outline an overview of what you want to tell about. Lets say, youre thinking of a love story about a young woman who fell in love with an old man, both were separated by circumstances but held back together by fate.
Define the characters. These are composed of a protagonist, (the good guy in the story) and the antagonist (the bad guy in the story). When writing novels, the content of each main character often creates the plot of the story. It is essential to come up with a real person that the readers could connect and relate too. What that means is that both the protagonist and antagonist are capable of committing mistakes and making things right too. Anyway, in reality, there are no Mr. Perfect Evil-doer and Mr Perfect good-deed existing in this world.
